Mitch LEvine

Black Warrior Film Festival is excited to host Mitch Levine, a filmmaker and festival consultant known for his films “Shadows,” “In Confidence,” and “Morphing Gravity.” Levine is also the founder of The Film Festival Group, a consulting firm for festivals, filmmakers and distribution companies. Before his career in film, Levine served as Special Representative to the United Nations Disarmament Programs and chairman of the World Conference on Disarmament.

Levine will be screening selections of his short films, as well as sharing expertise about strategies for submitting films to festivals around the world.

Black Warrior Film Festival is proud to present one of our festival alumni and former award winners, Sean Davé. Davé is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama and now lives in Nashville. In 2015, he directed the music video of the Pentatonix version of “Cheerleader.”

Davé is returning to campus to talk with our student filmmakers about finding jobs in the film industry immediately after graduating, as well as sharing his experience directing music videos.
